Donating money for referee fees at the Business School Pee Wee Soccer Tournament on August 11th, 2003

Five-a-side youth football competition for the youths of Meadowbrook/Lodge Backlands community 2003

In September 2003, Bannas Foundation was able to secure permission from the Ministry of Education to hold a football clinic at the Enterprise Primary School. This program was very successful in letting the kids in the community school know that there was a football program being run in their neighborhood.

Conducting football clinics for schools 2003-2004

Mashrumani Youth Soccer Tournament 2004: February 23, 2004: Bannas organized a soccer tournament for all children ages 4 – 14. Four teams from Georgetown, Guyana (44 children) participated. Trophies and medals of participation were given.

2-Day Easter Camp Out 2004: Saturday April 3rd – Sunday, April 4th: Group leaders Mariam, Kevin Walcott, Uncle Freddy Walcott, Doubles, and Terry took children on an outdoor survival skills camp @ Camp Kuyuka on the Linden Highway. There the 75 children who participated gained valuable experience in hiking, fishing, swimming, canoeing, and participated in drama skits. TheCamp was a resounding success for the parents, kids and sponsors (Fernandez, Banks DIH, all played an instrumental role in making it happen). The kids were able to do canoeing, fishing, hiking, and swimming.

Community Day Out, Easter Monday 2004: Bannas hosted kite-flying, and supported a fish fry, at the Field of Dreams.
